TikTok New Feature to Help Alleviate Minor Frustrations in the App in 2022
This TikTok New Feature could be useful.
TikTok New Feature – Do you ever go back up in your TikTok feed to find a video you’ve already seen, but then you go too far and end up refreshing the feed, losing the clip you were looking for?
TikTok has an answer.
TikTok is currently testing a new option that allows you to undo your feed refresh if you make a mistake, as seen in this screenshot shared by @al __hilaal7.
This is a minor functional addition, but it could come in handy when you’re looking for that one video in your feed.
On a similar note, TikTok has begun rolling out a new feature for creators called ‘Posted Drafts,’ which automatically creates a copy of your most recently posted video and saves it in the app’s ‘Drafts’ folder.
As Jera Bean explains in the video above, this will make it easier to update your clips with minor edits and changes because you’ll already have a version of the uploaded clip in your draughts to tweak rather than having to re-do the entire thing.
Posted Drafts will be available for 3 days after posting, so if you need to make changes, you can update, re-publish, and keep things moving even faster than before.
Again, neither is a major functional update, but from an annoyance standpoint, these could be extremely beneficial.
Matt Navarra deserves credit for highlighting both new features.
